Hi My name is Lyna Dagley and I live in Missouri. I live with my husband Mike, who is retired from the Air Force and General Motors. I am a Christian and God comes first in my live, then my family and then quilting. Mike and I have 1 son and 2 grandchildren Hannah and Noah, the love of our life.
I have been quilting since I was about 8 years old. I was taught by a very good friend of my family, who did both piecing and quilting by hand. My mom was an excellent seamstress so I learned garment sewing as well, but she was not a quilter. Quilting has always been my love, I taught myself to piece my machine, so I guess I am really a piecer. I'm not much of a quilter, I can do it I just don't want to!!! I would rather piece the tops and then send them off to someone whose passion is quilting.
I am a Banker by trade and after 35 years in that industry, I decided to retire and open my own quilt shop. I opened the Raspberry Patch Quilt shop in Cottleville MO in 2006. After a health scare in 2010 I decided it was time to retire and concentrate on pattern designing and teaching.
I love small quilts and I love civil war fabric so The Patch Designs Small Patches Small Quilts came to life. This is where I am today and I love it.
I am available to retreats or to come to your shop and do workshops. Send me an e-mail if you are interested,
I look forwarding to spending time with all of you.
Quilted Blessing
Lyna
